I've always had a very creative mind, and have always needed a creative outlet. Photography has filled that need for me and more!

Before getting into photography professionally I would take tons of pictures of my border collie, Raynor. He was a great model for me! After having my first daughter, I bought my first 'fancy' camera. She was changing every day and I wanted to make sure I didn't miss a moment! I absolutely loved taking photos of her, and found myself creating little styled 'shoots' quite often! After my second daughter arrived, my yearn to start my own photography business grew - and grew quick! I was always afraid and intimidated by the idea of starting by own business, but eventually I took the leap! I officially made Simply Smiling Photography! And now, three years and one more baby later, I am so happy I took that leap and followed my heart. Starting a business can be intimidating, but I have never looked back. I love every bit of it, and I am SO grateful to be able to meet all of these amazing people, and to get to capture their beautiful moments!
